Emma Mae (Littlewolf) Baker, 67, of Bagley, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Sanford Bagley Medical Center. She was born in Bagley, Minnesota on November 7, 1949 to Joseph and Catherine (Martin) Littlewolf and had lived in Cass Lake and Benedict for most of her life.

Emma loved being with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed berry picking, bingo, gathering pine cones and working on puzzles.

Those welcoming Emma to the spirit world are her parents, Joseph and Catherine (Martin) Littlewolf; husband, James John Baker; sisters, Elizabeth Whitebird and Ruth Littlewolf; and a brother, John Littlewolf.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Barbara Mountain of Benedict and Brenda (Allen) Pence of Cass Lake; sons, Dennis Littlewolf of Faribault, Minnesota and Travis Baker of Fargo, N.D.; step-daughter, Christina Baker of Minneapolis; step-son, Troy (Amy) Baker of Minneapolis; brothers, James (Cheryl) Littlewolf of Bagley, Theodore Littlewolf of Hackensack and Wally Humphrey of Cass Lake; sisters, Susan Jenkins, Marilyn Littlewolf and Mary Bellanger, all of Cass Lake; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A wake for Emma will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 and continue until her 11:00 a.m. service on Thursday, March 23, all being held in the Veterans Memorial Building, Cass Lake. Eugene “Ribs” Whitebird  will officiate at her service. Those laying Emma to rest are Michael Brown, Allen Brown, Aaron Brown, Matthew Brown, A.J. Cabritit and Tony Baker. Her alternate pallbearers are Seth White Raines and Gilbert Littlewolf. Honorary pallbearers are Candace Dunn, Erik Northbird, Vydell Jones, Nicole Northbird, Ruth Ann Bellanger, Lana Bellanger and all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters. Interment will be next to her husband in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cass Lake, following her service Thursday.
