Floyd Lee Bullhead, Sr., 62, of Minneapolis, MN passed away at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born on March 23, 1955 in Ponemah, the son of Edward and Ethel (Spears) Bullhead.

Floyd worked at a cement construction job for about 15 years and had various other jobs as well. He liked working on cars. He enjoyed hunting, exercising, walking and crossword puzzles. He also loved spending time with friends and family.

Those he joins are his parents; Ethel and Edward Bullhead, sisters; Rachel Hunter, Rose Marie Bebo, Edna Rodewald, and his brothers; Melvin and Leroy Bullhead.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are Floyd Bullhead, Jr., Robin Claymore, Patricia Foote, Waylon Bullhead, nine grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as his special companion; Marie Gordon.

A wake for Floyd will begin at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 and will continue until the 9:00 a.m. service on Monday, April 17, all at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, Minnesota. Spiritual leader will be Steve Jackson. Pallbearers for Floyd will be Jerry Ellis, Dewayne French, Joe Bullhead, Michael French, Rick Pasillas and Tex Bullhead. Honorary pallbearers will be all of his family and friends. Interment will be held in the Bullhead Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah following the service on Monday.

Floyd’s care has been entrusted to Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker, MN.
