Jennifer Rae Fairbanks

Jennifer Rae Fairbanks, “Moozoons” which means “Little Moose”, age 27, of Red Lake, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Friday, January 26, 2018 from her home.  She was born on April 8, 1990 in Bemidji, MN the daughter of Renee Fairbanks and Michael Whitefeather, Sr.

Rae loved spending time with her daughters Delacia, Katrina and Raelynn, they meant the world to her.  Rae enjoyed being with her grandpa Ebb and grandma Gloria too.  She and her special friend Donnie were always doing things like going to the casino or just going for rides, as long as they were together they were happy.  Rae cherished the time she could spend with her sisters and brothers and her nieces and nephews.  When she wasn’t busy with her family, she liked to spend time with her friends.

She is welcomed to spirit world by her significant other; Donald “Donnie” Lussier, step-father; Julius Maxwell, Sr., great grandparents; Harry and Viola Fairbanks, Mary Jane and Leroy Whitefeather, Edward and Evelyn Mitchell, aunt; Yvonne Whitefeather, uncle; Herman Strong, Jr., great uncles; Ron and Gordon Fairbanks, Ralph Jones, Richard, Leroy Jr., and Bernard Whitefeather, cousins; Loren, Michelle “Mushy” and Trace Fairbanks and Joel Graves.

Her memory will be cherished by her father Michael (Kendra) Whitefeather, Sr. of Red Lake, her mother; Renee (Donald) Fairbanks of Red Lake, her daughters; Delacia Erin and Katrina Mary Loud and Raelynn Rose Lussier, sisters; Kaeley (Wilburt) King, Tamera (Bryan) Lawrence, Samantha Lawrence, Michaela Whitefeather, Lavae Smith, Mika Smith and Angela Whitefeather, brothers; Brandon (Lisha) Fairbanks, Sr., Douglas (Shelene) King, Jr., Michael Whitefeather, Terrence and Terrell Whitefeather, Carter DeFoe, Cyrus Smith and Austin Whitefeather, grandparents; Adrian “Ebb” and Gloria Fairbanks, grandma; Jackie Whitefeather, aunts; Trina Fairbanks, Dawn Whitefeather and Michelle Lawrence, uncles; Curtis Jourdain, Sr. and Jeremy Strong, special nieces and nephews; Kaelene, Brandon Jr., Frank Jr. and Kaelynn, numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.

A wake for Rae will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 1st and continue until her traditional service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3rd all being held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN.  Allen Hardy will be her Spiritual Advisor.  Pallbearers for Rae will be Brandon Fairbanks, Sr., Douglas King, Jr., Michael Whitefeather, Jr., Gordon Jones, Sol Desjarlait, Arlen “Oats” Jourdain, Gerry King, Randy White, Jeremy Strong and Brian Graves.  Her honorary pallbearers are Kaeley King, Tamera Lawrence, Samantha Lawrence, Michaela Whitefeather, Trisha Ann Johns Brown, Ellie Beaulieu, Kristen Brown, Ra’Shonda Roberts, Shayla Hardy, Kari Ann Graves, Karissa King, Alycia Johnson, Kara King and Rochelle Strong.  Interment will be in the Fairbanks Family Burial Grounds at Red Lake, MN following her traditional services.
