My condolences to the Biggin family. My mom and dad (Emil & Marian Freburg) were great friends with Mal/Joanne and especiall Mal's father and mother, Don & Mabel. What great friends they were. Many many nights playing pinochle and other card games. Don Sr. was so good to me when I was a kid, kinda like a 2nd father. I had lost track and was bummed to see that Don Sr. passed in 2006 and Mal in 2010.
I pray that you remember all of the good memories from Joanne. I know that I will from all four of them. Life goes on but memories will keep them close.

I was so surprised and sad when I heard of Joanne's death. I got to know her through her travels with some of my groups and she was so full of enthusiasm and energy! Please accept my sympathy.

Dear Family of Joanne. I am so sorry and sad over the passing of Joanne. We originally met because of a credit card mix-up on a trip--with our names being the same. There is no one I would rather have having the same name as mine. After that we traveled as roommates to Ireland, Italy, and 3 trips in the US. We had another trip to the British Isles planned for 2018. I will miss my traveling companion so very much. She was caring, compassionate and fun to be with in a gentle, warm and loving way. May she rest in peace. Joanne Johnson

My heart is also heavy for the passing of your mom. I couldn't have asked for a better influence than Joanne to be our daycare person in help raising John and Jordan. After John was born I asked Joanne if I could get pregnant again if she was willing to care for our second child....she said yes and the rest is history! Your mom was so mellow and good to my boys. Every Thursday morning she drove to Park Rapids for groceries and took John and Jordan to
Antlers cafe for cinnamon roll. Your mom took care of John and Jordan when I was gone for FHA duties...even a week at a time. My sons are great also because of her love and wonderful care she and your dad gave them. I am forever thankful for them both! I don't have your home addresses..... I am so glad God made your mom to bless us all! You know I love you! My thoughts are with you during this time.

Our hearts and prayers are with Joanne's family and friends. A cousin separated by lots of miles for many years, we do remember Joanne with fond memories. We are now in Ohio and unable to attend the service but do send our love and prayers to all who gather to celebrate the love and wonderful life of this dear friend.
