Phongsavanhg Paul Phonseya, age 51, was born in Vientiane Loas and went home on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

Paul loved to cook, dance, sing, fish and loved to be around his family and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother; Thongvanh Thongmanivong, sisters; Anousong and Vilavanh  Phonseya, numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his wife; Patricia Phonseya of Cass Lake, children; Trudy Lynn (Ashley May) Magney and Peter James Phonseya both of Cass Lake, his father; Khamouane Phonsey, sister; Sosomphanh Phanbandith, brothers; Sonephevanh, Sisouphanh, Sonephet and Bounnhock Thongmanivong and many other relative and friends.

A wake for Paul will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 15th and continue until his 11:00 a.m. service on Monday, July 17th all being held at the Facility Center in Cass Lake, Minnesota.  Pastor Dave Yates will officiate.  Pallbearers for Paul will be Nate Houle, Louie Paquette, Noel Cortez, Charles Daniels, Ron Hulett, Sr. and Buonnhock “Lon” Thongmanivong.  His honorary pallbearers are Darrel Clark, Charles Thompson, Sosomphanh Phanbandith, Marcuxz Ross, Guy White, Marcy Taylor and Harvey Nicholas.  Interment will be in the Prince of Peace Cemetery at Cass Lake/Mission, MN following his Monday service.
