Renesmee (Love Bug) Tina Marie Smith, 41 weeks gestation, “Waa-ba-no-ng anang” which means “Morning Star” began her spiritual journey from the Essentia Health Center in Deer River, MN on Thursday, October 19, 2017.  She graced this earth on Thursday, October 19, 2017 and was the daughter of Lacy Halgren and Samuel Smith.

Mommy will always love you.  You’re always on my mind.  You were the best thing that’s ever happen to us and everything we ever wanted.  I will see you soon baby girl.  I know how much you loved your food.  You really loved Taco Bell and a lot of fruit.  Your grandmas would have spoiled you rotten.  Love, Mommy

Big beautiful cheeks like her mother’s.  Big feet and big dreams.  Fly high Love Bug.  Your mom always knew you loved your food.  She did too.  Dad loves you more than anything in the world and I can’t wait to see you again someday.  Hopefully grandpa doesn’t have to chase you around up there too much.  I know my Love Bug is having fun with Grandpa Bud riding in his Harley with the side car.  Love, Daddy

A wake for Renesmee will begin at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, October 22nd and continue until her 1:00 p.m. service on Sunday, October 22nd all being held at Northern Peace Funeral Home, Walker, MN.  Mike Smith will be her spiritual leader.  Honorary pallbearers are her great grandfather Joseph Gould, great uncles; Randall Gould, Jeffery Gould, Russell Gould and Rodney Gould, uncles; John Gould, Brandon Smith, Brandon Lilley and Timothy Tabaka.
