Inez Jane Hart

Inez Jane Hart, age74, journeyed to the spirit world on Monday, March 18, 2024, from CentraCare Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. She was born on November 30th, 1949, in Cass Lake, MN, the daughter of Dorothy (Evans) and John Hart.

Inez loved family time and was always willing to help her family. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing cribbage, solitaire, and dice games. She liked listening to country music and watching her Western’s and crime shows on t.v.  Her favorite movie was “Thunder Heart”. Inez was a cook by trade, she loved to cook and was very good, especially her frybread, it was delicious! She always enjoyed her coffee, cigarettes, and cards at the kitchen table where she could watch out the window. Inez will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those greeting Inez in the spirit world are her parents, Dorothy and John Hart; daughter, Amanda Lee; sisters, Eunice and Kathy Hart, Carol White, Melvina Rogers, Veronica Thomas; brothers, Freddy and Roddy Stone, Arlen, and Larry Hart; grandsons, Randy Lee Hanks and David Graves, Jr.

Those Inez leaves behind to forever cherish her loving memory are her son, Evan Fasthorse; daughters, Jodine (David) and Rebecca Lee; sister, Marcy Hart; 15 grandchildren, Amanda Fasthorse (special granddaughter), Jacob, Alaina, Alyssa, Tristan, Noah J., Matthew, Evan Jr., Joylita, Xavier, Justin and Sweetie, Noah F., Ava, Anastasia; 5 great-grandchildren, Senicka, Azalea, Valerie, Dailray, and Marcus.

A two-night combined wake sister and brother Inez and Boy will begin on Sunday, March 24th, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. and continue until her traditional service Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., all to be held at the White Earth Family Center/“Old Legion” in Cass Lake, MN. Pastor Mark Pesky will officiate. Inez’s Spiritual Advisor is Melvin Goodman. Special music by the Hare Boys Drum Group. Those helping to lay Inez to rest are Matthew Imberi, Amanda Fasthorse, David Graves, Jodine Lee, Jacob Hardy, and Julian Jones. Honorary pallbearers are all of Inez’s family and friends. Interment will be in Prince of Peace Cemetery in Cass Lake, MN.
