Ruth Marie (Clyde) Albrecht

Ruth Marie Albrecht,87, of Laporte, Minnesota passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024, at her Laporte home.  Ruth was born in Laporte MN on March 22, 1936, to Frank and Ruth (Reid) Clyde.

Ruth was very active in the Laporte community.  She enjoyed attending church, belonging to the Red Hatters and going to the Popple Bar and dancing any chance she had.  She also loved going to Benedict and listening to her friends jam with their instruments. You could often catch Ruth having coffee with Craig and Jamie at the local grocery store.

Ruth loved to travel the United States with Herb and see all this country had to offer.  She also enjoyed spending time with family, especially her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.   Ruth was particularly well known for her home-made spaghetti sauce; she would make up a big batch and have the whole family over.  She was also well known for her potato salad, baked beans amazing pie crusts!

 Ruth is reunited with are her parents, Frank and Ruth. husband; Herb, daughter; Kileen Zubke, two granddaughters; Nola Kampfer, and Rebecca Kielsa; several siblings

Ruth leaves behind are her son’s; Glenn (Kari) Kampfer, Marty (Lisa) Kampfer, Bill (Heather) Kampfer, and son in law Nick Zubke, daughters; Julie Kampfer, Barbara (Gary) Benson, Roxy (Ron) Kampfer, and Lori (Brad) Kielsa brother; Ray (Jackie) Clyde, 24 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held for Ruth on March 16, 2024, with a visitation at 10:00a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m.  all to be held at the Community Church in Laporte, Minnesota.  Pastor Matt Sconce officiating.
