Announcement

Northern Peace Funeral Home is closely monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak as the updates occur. Our primary purpose is to protect the safety of our staff and their families, the families we serve and the communities we live in. We are committed to following the guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Health, the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), the National Funeral Directors Association, the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association, our Minnesota Governor and the White House. As essential providers, we are working and answering calls when the passing of a loved one occurs.

As of March 27, 2020, at 11:59 pm, the Minnesota Department of Health recommends that Funeral Homes postpone any type of services until the current public health concerns and restrictions improve. The MDH has also recommended, when possible, that any communication be done electronically or over the phone. Even through these temporary limitations and postponements on group gatherings and social distancing, we are here to provide you, our families, with options to honor your loved ones.

Northern Peace Funeral Home will be taking some additional precautions as well. We ask that if you need to come to the funeral home for any reason, please call for an appointment. In order to practice social distancing, consistent with the Department of Health and CDC guidance, we are limiting the number of family members allowed in the funeral home to 3. We will continue to have staff available on-site Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. with phones being answered 24 hrs. a day. Please remember that our commitment to your family has not changed, and as always, we will be here for you at your time of need.
