Anthony “Tony” Carl Ramirez, age 55, of Hackensack, Minnesota passed away suddenly on Monday, January 8, 2018.  Tony was born in Harvey, Illinois on July 23, 1962 to Al and Liz (Abraham) Ramirez.

Tony moved to Hackensack in 1972 with his parents and sister from Oak Forest, IL.  He owned F & S Transmission with his Dad until 2011.  Tony then worked in North Dakota for five years before coming back and working for T & C Excavating for the last two years.  He met the love of his life and best friend Lorinda “Rin” in 1984 and they were married on August 22, 1998 and they made their home in Hackensack.

Tony loved working out in his garage with his wife Rin, motorcycling, ice racing and spending time with his family.  His wife and two children meant the world to him.  Nascar racing, having a good time wherever he was and burning rubber with his wife in their Camaro where some of his favorites.

The family Tony is reunited with are his grandparents; Carl “Pappy” and Jane Abraham and Cruz and Georgia Ramirez and his father-in-law; Charlie Sautbine.

He will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend; Rin (Lorinda), his children; Dylan and Shelby, parents; Al and Liz Ramirez, sister; Jane (Jason) Moore, nieces; Payton Schulze and Brittney Gardner, mother-in-law; Helen Sautbine, sister-in-law; Lisa (Daniel) Gardner, aunts, uncles, several cousins and many friends.

A Celebration of Life for Tony will begin at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church in Walker, MN.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.  Pastor Matthew McWaters will officiate.  Honorary pallbearers for Tony are Tom Bredeson, Tom Ness, Jerry Freeman, Joe Freeman, Ben Deavours and Austin Bredeson.  Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Walker, MN immediately following his Monday service.
