David Julious Shepard

David Julious Shepard, age 75, of Cass Lake, Minnesota passed away, on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.  He was born to Orville and Alice (Landry) Shepard on November 5, 1942 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.  Where he grew up and then moved to MN where he met his beautiful wife JoLyn and the two married on June 7, 1970.

David was full of life, anyone that ever met him was sure to always remember him.  David loved his family more than anything.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, giving golf cart rides, driving through the woods, fishing, picking berries, pretty much anything that had to do with being outside, working on old cars and helping others with almost anything.  David was a happy guy, always laughing, smiling and joking.  He will be missed dearly.

Family that welcomes David home are his parents; Orville and Alice Shepard, brothers; Larry and Ricky (Bonnie) Shepard, Edward Landry, sister Darlene Schuldt and brother-in-law; Milton Hanson and parents-in-law; Earl and Eva Boll.

David leaves behind his wife; JoLyn Shepard of Cass Lake, sons; Brian (Janele) Shepard of Laporte, daughter; Roberta (Richard) Gregerson of Cass Lake, son; Tod (Becky) Shepard of Lamberton, grandchildren; Tessa and Travis Shepard, Eva & Emalee Gregerson, twin brother; Daniel (Mary) Shepard of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, sister; Betty (George) Blauveldt of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, brothers-in-law; Howard Schuldt of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Delgene (Pat) Boll of Hutchinson, sisters-in-law; LoAnn Hanson of Hutchinson and many nephews, nieces and friends.

A celebration of David’s Life will be held Saturday June 16, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m., at the Pavilion at Norway Beach Campground, Cass Lake, Minnesota
