Doris Faye LeBlanc, 80, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2018 at her home in Birchview Gardens, Hackensack, MN.
Doris was born in Chicago, IL on August 24, 1937 to Yngoe (William) and Mary (Hammer) Johnson. She later married Jim LeBlanc. The couple had a daughter, Michelle, and three sons, Michael, Mark and Chris before later divorcing.
She has lived in Hackensack for the past 47 years and spent most of her life serving God and others. For 25 of those years she was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Ah Gwa Ching before retiring. Even then, she continued her life of caring as a volunteer driver for Faith in Action, delivering meals and offering companionship to shut-ins. Much of her income went to the needy, financially adopting children for Compassion International, providing them with the basics of life. Doris was described as, “the most caring, compassionate, and giving woman that God ever called into service” and now she has returned to Him. She was a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Hackensack.
Doris is survived by daughter, Michelle (John) Ansell, Leesburg, FL; sons, Michael (June) LeBlanc, Pine River, MN; Mark LeBlanc, Hackensack, MN, and Chris (Lynette) LeBlanc of Brainerd, MN., a sister, Jean M. Johnson, Greenville, MI, as well as eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Johnson, as well as a grandson, ChristianAndrew LeBlanc.
