Frank James Donnell

Frank James Donnell, age 13 of Ponemah and the Eagle Clan began his spiritual journey on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 from the IHS Hospital in Red Lake, Minnesota.  He was born to Jane Johnson and Kristian Donnell, Sr. on September 2nd, 2006 in Bemidji, MN.

Frankie grew up in Ponemah and attended Ponemah Elementary School.  He enjoyed being around and seeing all the kids.  He liked when the kids would read to him and when they played with him.  He also enjoyed seeing his teachers Rindy, Ginny, Melodie and Greta.  He liked doing crafts and activities with Devin and Mrs. Greta Kovar.

He loved being around his family and friends.  He would get excited and give the biggest smile when they talked to him. He enjoyed being around his siblings and watching TV, especially his favorite shows.

In his travels to Gillette Children’s Hospital, he has many great care givers such as Julie Mills; whom he was very fond of.

Family that welcome Frankie to the spirit world are his great grandparents, Jane and Marcel Johnson, Sr., Katie Nail and Marchie Harjo, Sophia and Frank Donnell, Sr.; grandmother, Hilda Donnell; brother, Kristian Donnell, Jr.; cousin, Rachel Johnson and other relatives.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Jane (Virgil) Johnson; his grandparents and adopted parents, Shirley and Marcel Johnson, Jr.; grandfather, Frank Donnell; brothers, Dylan Lussier, Jr., Devin Johnson and Coburn Johnson; sisters, Taylin May-Donnell and Erin Lussier; aunt, Leslie (Adrian) Kingbird; uncles, Darcy (Donna) Benais, Jason (Tami) Johnson and Harley (Colleen) Johnson; cousins, Jacob, Keegan, Jenna, Marcel, Logan, Vance, Brady, Darcy, Jr., Malcolm and Braelyn and the rest of his extended family.
