Harlan Keith Gale

Harlan Keith Gale, age 52, of Longville, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 29, 2019.  He was born on March 2, 1967 in Cass Lake, MN to Frances (Sayers) and Counsel Gale.

Harlan grew up in the Onigum area and attended school in Walker, MN graduating in 1987.  He was very outgoing person who enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends.  Even though he liked to joke around and have fun he was always willing to help anyone out, if he could.  Harlan was very close to his cousins Cam and Kenny Sayers for many years, before their passing.  Hobbies that Harlan enjoyed were watching basketball, hunting and gambling.  Harlan was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, catching every game.

He is reunited with his parents; Frances and Counsel, grandma; Sarah Sayers, cousins; Cameron and Kenny Sayers and many aunties and uncles.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his children; Preston Schroeder of California and Alyssa Schroeder of Park Rapids, brother; Ernest Gale, sister; Holly Rabbit, one grandson, auntie; Mary LaDeaux and numerous other relatives and many friends.

A wake for Harlan will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2nd and continue until his 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, April 4th all to be held at the Onigum Community Center in Onigum, MN.  Helping to lay Harlan to rest are Tony LaDeaux, Joe Jackson, Joe Wright, Leroy Gale, Merrill Cloud and Aaron Oothoudt.  His honorary pallbearers are his children Preston and Aylssa Schroeder and all his family.  Interment will be in the Old Agency Catholic Cemetery at Old Agency, MN.
