Henry Lewis Chapman

Henry Lewis Chapman, age 54, of the Bear Clan and Pierre, South Dakota began his journey on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre, SD.  Henry was born on October 31, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN to Rena Chapman and Henry Reed.

Henry was raised by the Elmbergs in his childhood years, went to school and lived most of his life in Minneapolis, MN.  He loved his family and his life.  He enjoyed giving rides on his wheel chair and being out having fun.  Henry liked to fish, watch movies and listening to all types of music.  His wishes were always to come home to be with his family.

Family that Henry is reunited with are his parents; Rena Chapman and Henry Reed, step mom; Rosie Reed, and sister; Karen.

He leaves behind his brother; Willard Reed, the Elmberg Family and many other family members and friends.

A gathering of friends and family will begin at 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2109 at the Onigum Community Center in Onigum, MN.  Father Matthew Cobb will officiate.  Pallbearers for Henry are Rob Elmberg, Dean Elmberg, Ricky Fair, Anthony Fair, James Dares and Keith Wolf.  His honorary pallbearers are Sherry Elmberg, Jackie Dares and all her girls.  Interment will be in St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery at Old Agency, MN.
