Natalie. So sorry for your loss. Jon was a big man with a big heart. Jon was my main FTO back in 1968. I remember him saying to me when I didn't use proper radio procedure (Who in the h--- do you think your are? Sky King) Some things you just don't forget. Rest assured, Jon will be remembered.

From almost day 1 on the patrol, I have had the utmost respect for this man. He was so down to earth, and respectable of even us troopers in training. Rookie school biggest memory was of someone Jon called "Granny Grunch", and the way he talked about her, I never wanted to run into her on the road!!
