Karen Annette Kingbird, 55, of Cass Lake, Minnesota went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 23, 2017.  She was born in Saint Paul, MN on December 2, 1961, the daughter of Marlys (Burt) and McKinley Kingbird.

Karen grew up in the Circle Pines Area, a suburb of Minneapolis and graduated from Centennial High School.  She was an avid Vikings and Twins fan.  One of her favorite pastimes was crusin’ with old rock and roll on.  Karen spent her spare time doing her hand crafts, she liked making earrings and stained glass ornaments.  She was a child of Christ and loved learning about Him and His word, but most of all she adored her only granddaughter, Reagan. 

Family that Karen reunites with are her parents; Marlys and McKinley Kingbird and one brother; Scottie Kingbird.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter; Adena (Kevin Huggins) Kingbird, sisters; Sandy Kingbird, Kathy (Unk Watson) O’Brien and Della Kingbird, brothers; Mike Mack (Christy Goodwill), Kevin and Keveon Kingbird, granddaughter; Reagan Huggins, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A gathering of family and friend will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 at Northern Peace Funeral Home, 114 Tianna Drive, Walker, MN.  A private family burial will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2017 in St. Antipas Episcopal Cemetery at Redby, MN.
