Lois Marion Seidenstricker

Lois Marion Seidenstricker died January 16, 2019, at the age of 95, in Princeton, Minnesota. She was born on November 18, 1923 to Hilbert and Ethel (Gilderman) Peterson.

Lois grew up, and attended school in Procter, Minnesota where in December of 1944 she married the father of her 6 daughters, Robert Stephany at the family Home.  In 1965 she moved to Federal Dam, Minnesota where she met her 2nd husband Roy Seidenstricker.  Lois spent her life making a home wherever and whenever her family moved.  She helped run several businesses in the Leech Lake resort area and enjoyed spending time with her children and their families. Lois was the proud mother of 6, grandmother of 23, great grandmother of 42, and great great grandmother of 12, soon to be 13!  She  will be sadly missed by all who knew her

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; Hilbert and Ethel, sister; Dorothy, brothers; Henry and Robert, her first husband; Robert Stephany, husband; Roy Seidenstricker, daughter; Wendy Meckel, infant grandchildren; Michelle, Jolene and Ruby, and granddaughter; Melissa Seidenstricker.

Lois is survived by her daughters; Peggy (Pat) LeBlanc, Patty (Larry) Houser, Diane (Tom) Kobayashi, Polly (Joe) Ruhl, Heidi (Jeff) Johnson, Step children; Scott (Lorraine) Seidenstricker, Paul (Candace) Seidenstricker, and Jody Seidenstricker.

A celebration of Lois’ life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Northern Peace Funeral Home in Walker with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Pastor Lynn Strandt will officiate.  Honorary Urnbearers will be Pat LeBlanc, Larry Houser, Tom Kobayashi, Joe Ruhl, and Jeff Johnson. Inurnment will in the Norway Pine Columbarium, Northern Peace funeral Home, Walker, Minnesota.
