Dear Jim,

My prayerful condolences and my thoughts are with you at this time of the loss of your dear wife, Louise. May she rest in peace.

I have always carried fond memories of your teaching me in junior high school, decades ago now. Thanks for everything.

Dear Jim & family.
We enjoyed our times in Destin with you and Louise. I particularly enjoyed a writing class we took together.
She was a very neat lady and intelligent. I enjoyed our conversations.
God Bless and may fond memories help sustain you in this time of sorrow.

I was truly blessed to have Louise as a mother-in-law. She, Jim, Cindy, Mike and I had many wonderful experiences over the years. A favorite story includes the very first time we met . . . the two of us rode horses in Carlinville and I ended up with pneumonia! She was always up on current affairs and we enjoyed discussing issues of the day. Louise always treated me like a true son -- I loved her and will miss her dearly.

Dear Jim and Family,
Louise became my close friend and confidante when we first met in June of 1995 to become part of a writing group. What times we have had for 22 years exploring literature and going on "artist dates." Your words speak of Louise's essence and sensibility. and beautiful soul.
So glad Charlie and I knew her. Love, C and P Swanum

Deepest condolences Uncle Jim, Cindy and Mike. Aunt Louise was such a special and amazing woman. She is part of all of my fondest memories of family gatherings, both from childhood and more recent years. Her warmth was contagious, and I always looked forward to her Christmas letters. You are all in my thoughts. See you soon. -Kristen

Dear Jim and family, Louise was one of those very special ladies.
Always a smile, kind word and a gentle presence. It was a such a pleasure knowing
her all these years. Whenever I would meet her on the road during her hard fought
battle with cancer, there was always that smile and never a complaint. She was truly one of
the best and will be greatly missed. Love to all of you at this very difficult time.
Love, Vonnie
