Marilyn Alexis (Serley) Baker, age 66, of Hackensack, Minnesota went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was born on February 27, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Margaret and Olaf “Bud” Serley. She worked as the Office Administrative Specialist for the Walker Area Fisheries for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and most recently for Cornerstone Church of which she was a member.
The three most important things in her life were her family; her friends, and her faith in God. Marilyn attended Mankato State College after high school where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was an artist at heart, who's creative skills ran the gamut from painting to cooking to knitting. She loved to make and serve delicious, beautiful food! It was a creative gift she had that she loved to share with her friends and family. She loved the outdoors and her family home on Birch Lake in Hackensack, MN.
Marilyn is survived by her son Justin Baker, daughter-in-law Scholastica Baker, grandsons; Latham Baker, Torin Baker and Madoc Baker and too many friends to mention.
