Michelle Hunt Obituary

Michelle Colleen Hunt, age 46, of Onigum, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Sunday, July 14th, 2019 from her home.  She was born in Cass Lake, MN on April 23, 1973 to Maxine (Bedausky) and Matthew Hunt.

Michelle is the daughter of Matthew Hunt of Walker MN and Maxine Hunt of Mille Lacs MN.  She grew up in Fridley MN until she moved to Onigum. This is where she met the love of her life Cameron Sayers while attending high school.  After high school, Michelle and Cam were inseparable and spent many years together before having their three beautiful children.  Her Children were her world she loved them beyond measures.

When we are flooded with memories of our beloved, Michelle knew how to make us all feel laughter, love, and gratitude.  She always had a way with anybody she spent time with; she could make any moment feel special.  If it was playing her favorite sport like golf or maybe some billiards, and we could not forget bowling.  We all know she loved the jokes, because of the laughing you did while with her. Those moments we share are unforgettable. When those certain memories come to you should share them with her babies because they need to know How truly wonderful their mother was.

We were all her favorites in her eyes; we could feel like the world when she was around.  Let us just say she was the biggest fan to everyone she grew to love.  Michelle was loved by all her family from Winnebago NB, Turtle Lake WI, Green Bay WI, Mille Lacs MN and last but not least Leech Lake MN.  One of her greatest gifts was her abilities to make friends; she loved her friends, as family.  As her family we are now gifted the responsibility to be caring, supportive, and nurturing for Camryn, Cordell, and Casey.  Together we can to make sure Cam & Michelle live through us for them.  We will forever miss you sister.

Family welcoming Michelle to the spirit world are her mom; Maxine Hunt, maternal grandparents; Veronica and George Bedausky of Mille Lacs and St. Croix, paternal grandparents; Phyllis and James Hunt of Onigum, partner; Cameron Sayers and numerous aunties and uncles.

She leaves behind her children; Camryn, Cordell and Casey Hunt of Onigum, father; Matthew (Ruth) Hunt of Onigum, brothers; Tim St. Clair, Jr. of Minneapolis, Mike Fox of Onigum, Paul (Leila) Jourdain of Ball Club and Eric (Emily) Alger of Walker, aunties; Mary Bedausky, Nancy (Larry) Zeleznik and Peggy Hunt, uncle; Melvin (Joy) Hunt, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

An overnight wake for Michelle will begin at dusk on Wednesday, July 17th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Thursday, July 18th all being held at the Onigum Community Center, Onigum, MN.  Allen Hardy will be her Spiritual Advisor.  Pallbearers for Michelle will be Bradley White, Joe Wright, Victor Thompson, Rome Bedausky, Keith Tucker, Larry Johnson, Patrick Fowler, Jr. and Thomas Fowler.  Her honorary pallbearers are Brent Bedausky, Jerome Bedausky, Tim St. Clair, Mike Fox, Eric Aliger, Shane Gasper, Carlos Mosey, Kelly Jackson and Robin Butcher.  Interment will be in the St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery at Onigum, MN.
