Natashia Lee Johnson, age 30, formerly of Red Lake, began her journey to the spirit world from her home in Lisbon, North Dakota on Sunday, December 17, 2017.  She was born in Bemidji, MN on May 29, 1987 to Marilyn (May) and Steven Lee Johnson, Sr.

Natashia was a very hard worker and enjoyed helping everyone whenever she could.  Natashia loved cooking, baking and jingle dancing.  One of her favorite things to do was to hang out with her brothers and sister all day.  Natashia liked to laugh, play around and gossip with everyone.  She had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews; Kelsie, Kendra, Kali, Iverson and Caycen and her big Sonny-Boy Andrew Jack.  Natashia just loved all her family and loved to take care of them, especially her Dad.  She absolutely adored her two dogs.

She is welcomed to the spirit world by her mother; Marilyn May, sisters; Natasha and Allison May, grandma; Melinda May, grandpas; Harry Johnson and Herbert “ZEMO” May, aunties; Roxanne and Gloria May and cousins; Kyle and Chris Schoenborn and Davis Rosebear.

Family that she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her sons; Andrew Sonnenberg, Carter Smith-King and Aaron Sonnenberg all of Red Lake, daughters; Jordan, Janae and Dominique Johns all of Red Lake, father; Steven Johnson, Sr. of Blackduck, brothers; Steven (Tammi) Johnson, Jr., Dominick Johnson and Robert Cook, Jr. all of Red Lake, sister; Chloe May-Cook of Red Lake, grandma; Susan Johnson,  special friend; James Quast of Lisbon, ND, special nephews; Iverson and Caycen, special nieces; Kelsie, Kendra and Kali, many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, and friends.

A wake for Natashia will begin at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21st and continue until her 11:00 a.m., traditional services on Saturday, December 23rd all being held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN.  Zac Early will be her spiritual advisor.  Pallbearers for Natashia will be Rob May, Corey May, Wes May, Arnie Martin, Josh Lussier, Gordon Johnson, Jim Johnson and Rob Cook, Sr.  Her honorary pallbearers are Andrew Sonnenberg, Diana May, Karen May, Carol May, Laurie May, Bill May, Herb May, Darrell “Rag” Johnson, Ruth Whitefeather, Vicki Neadeau, Kara Cook, Tammi Johnson, Amber Sayers, Carla Martin, Misty Lussier, Michelle Lussier, Dawn Beaulieu, Rob Cook, Jr., Marty Raincloud, Jr., Alicia May, Jenny Urrita, Dan “Charlie” May, Amber May, Darlene Johnson, Millie Johnson, Dell Perkins, Kelsie Johnson, Caycen Cook and Latayla Pemberton.  Interment will be in the Johnson Family Burial Grounds at Red Lake, MN following her Saturday services.
