Patrick Lynn Haugen

Patrick Lynn Haugen, journeyed to the spirit world on Monday, February 26, 2018 from Walker, MN.  Patrick was born in Zumbrota, MN on March 29, 1960 the son of Cecil and Fern (Morgan) Haugen.

Patrick grew up in Zumbrota where he attended school.  After receiving his GED, he attended the Staples Forestry program with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources receiving his Technician Certificate.  He began to work for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources in 1984.  He retired in November of 2015.

Family that Patrick is reunited with are his parents; two grandsons, Christopher and Dylan; three brothers, Bob, Kelly and Jerry and a nephew, Tyrone Morgan.

He is survived by his wife, Barb; three sons, John, Jason and Jesse; his daughter, Anita; 31 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four brothers, Shannon, Tom, Brian and Cecil “Tiny” and his sister, Therese and her husband Chris.

A wake for Patrick will begin at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28th and continue until his 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, March 2nd all being held at the Veterans Memorial Building, Cass Lake.  Father George Ross will officiate.  Helping to lay Patrick to rest are Paul, Gene and Neal Peterman and Tiny, Tom and Shannon Haugen.  Honorary pallbearers are all his many friends at the Minnesota Department of Natural Recourses.  Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Cass Lake, MN following his Friday funeral services.
