Sandra Lorraine Woodward

Sandra “Sandy” Lorraine Woodward, age 69, of Cass Lake, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world from her home on Sunday, January 21, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.  Sandy was born to Mervel and Rose (LaRose) Jones on January 15, 1949 in Cloquet, MN.

Before dementia, Sandy loved spending time with her grandkids.  They were her life.  She liked cooking, going to Bingo but most of all she loved riding all over with Alvin.

Family that Sandy is reunited with are her parents; Mervel and Rose Jones, daughter; Chrissy, sisters; Veronica “Roni” Jones and Roxanne LaRose, brother; Mervel “Tiger” Jones, and nephews; Peter, Jesse and Cory Jones.

She is survived by her husband Alvin Roy, Sr., sons; Alvin Roy, Jr. (Penny Firesteel), Matthew Roy (Kayla Fisher) and Lucas Woodward (Anita Dunn), brother; Tom Jones, sisters; Carol Jones and Diane Bakk, 23 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A wake for Sandy will begin at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24th and continue until her 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, January 26th all being held at the Facility Center in Cass Lake, MN.  Father George Ross will officiate.  Pallbearers for Sandy will Robert “Fishy” Beaudreau, Jimmy “Neutron” Baird, Matthew Roy, Lucas Woodward, Terrance “Beeb” Jones and Cheyenne Budreau.  Her honorary pallbearers are Bonnie Earth, Kayla Fisher, Leticia Roy, Penny Firesteel, Carol Jones, Tasheena Thompson, Cassa Thompson, Amber Woodward, Katie Roy, Chrissy Roy, Angelique Roy and Terri Jean “TJ” Johnson.  Interment will be in the Prince of Peace Cemetery following her Friday services.
