Sherry.. your mother, your grandma, your aunt, your sister, your friend, your loved one.
Sherry Fay Elmberg, “Bezhigo bimose ikwe” which means “One Woman Standing Alone”, age 54, of Onigum, Minnesota began her journey home to the spirit world on Monday, November 11th, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Bemidji, MN.
Born on December 26, 1964 to Raymond and Frances (Reed) Elmberg, Sherry was a happy go lucky, fun loving, kindhearted and beautiful person. She enjoyed going to the lake for a swim or to sit and watch the waves. Sherry was a good cook and was always happy to cook for anyone, and always tried to feed everyone. She made the best hot wings. Sherry loved to spend time with her family and friends and was always willing to babysit anyone’s kids if they needed her to. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She had a nickname or a silly line for every person she knew. Her smile was beautiful and if that alone didn’t make you smile; her goofy dance moves definitely would. Everywhere she went, someone knew her; she was known by and will be missed by all.
Sherry has been reunited with her parents, Ray and Frances; her son, Ladell Elmberg, Sr., her daughter, Frances Elmberg; a brother, Raymond Elmberg, Jr., many aunts, uncles, cousins and some friends.
Family she leaves behind are her son, Robert Elmberg, Sr.; sisters, Rhonda Lindamood, Darla and Wendy Elmberg and Jackie Dares; brothers, Gordy, Kerry and Dean Elmberg; grandchildren, Tatyana, Ladell Jr., Nikayla, Charlette, Robert Jr., Naissia, Marcus, Memory, Anyiah and Roger; great grandchildren, Kiara, Savannah, Alayah and two on the way; aunties, Jane and Mary; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
