Simon William King, Jr.

Simon William King, Jr., age 56, of Bemidji, Minnesota passed away at his home on Friday, September 14, 2018 with his family by his side.  He was born in Red Lake, MN on May 3, 1962 to Connie (Kingbird) Beaulieu and Simon King, Sr.

Simon had a good spirit who loved spending time with all his nieces and nephews.  He was an excellent athlete in his high school days; playing both basketball and football, playing with his football team in the State Tournament.  Simon was very good at beading and followed the powwow trail to sell his creations.  He enjoyed watching comedy shows and all types of sports and listened to all different kinds of music.  Simon is going to missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family that Simon is reunited with are his grandparents; Leo and Lucille Kingbird, grandma; Marjorie Chaboya, great grandma; Nina King, and aunties; Barbara Kingbird and Patsy Stately.

He leaves behind his parents; Connie Beaulieu and Simon King, Sr., daughter; Kristine Wolfe-King, brothers; Bleau, Barry, Monte, William, Jerry and Keith, sisters; Shelly, Marjorie, Nikki, Cecilee and Jonnie, numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 21st, 2018 at the New Redby Community Center in Redby, MN.  Simon’s honorary pallbearers are all his family and friends.  Simon’s cremains will remain with his family, at his request.
