Theresa Tait Frog

Theresa “Lillah Foot” Tait Frog, age 78, of the Turtle Clan and Thief River Falls, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from the Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN with her family by her side.  She was born in Roseau River, Manitoba, Canada on December 18, 1939 to Agnes Tait and Albert Martin.

Our loving mother was a wonderfully loving person who loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was the type of person who always had her mind set. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. 

My grandma was such a nice and kind person who always put others before herself.  She was loved by so many and has touched everyone she has ever met.  We will miss her greatly.

She is welcomed to the spirit world by her husband; William Frog, two sons; Joseph Frog and Stanley Tanner, parents; Agnes and Albert, sister; Rose Goodwin, nieces; Beverly Tait and Thelma RedEagle.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her sons; Wilber Tait of Red Lake, Douglas Lockard of Pennsylvania and Archie Tanner of Manitoba, daughters; Wilma (Gene) Frog of Thief River Falls, Lydia (Wolfgang) Tanner of Germany, Isabelle Tanner of Winnipeg, Lorna (Bin) Puttee of Winnipeg and Christina (Filmore) Simon of Sisseton, SD, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

An overnight wake for Theresa will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Sunday, August 26th all being held at the New Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN.  Peter Atkinson will be her Spiritual Advisor.  Pallbearers for Theresa are Gene R. Lamson, Jr., Raymond Matthews, Jr., Wilber Tait, Michael Hatton, William Long and Douglas RedEagle.  Alternate pallbearers are Todd “Troy” Burris and Todd Anderson.  Her honorary pallbearers are Shane’na Frog, Genenika Lamson, Latisha Lamson, Gene Lamson III, Theresa Lamson, Rei’Lani Matthews, Brenden Matthews, Gene Pierce-Lamson and Tyler Lamson.  Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, next to her son Joseph Frog, at Red Lake, MN following her services.
