Agnes King, of Duluth, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from the St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.
She was born the daughter of Steven Cobenais & Mary Johnson on January 6, 1932, in Red Lake, MN where she grew up and attended school. Some of her favorite things to do were gardening, shoveling snow, baking, crocheting, picking berries and nuts, going to the casino and camping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Agnes was a very forgiving person; she was always willing to help with family and friends. She spent ten years going to dialysis and loved her life to the fullest and most definitely will be missed.
Welcoming Agnes to the spirit world are her grandma Mary “Sahkahtay” Smith, parents, Steven & Mary; husband Robert “Tuffy” King; sister Annette Barrett, son-in-law Gary Wehr and many other relatives who are loved & missed.
Those left behind to carry on her legacy are her children: Helen Plum, Vickie (Ray) Toutloff, Valerie King, Robert King, Brian King, Wanda Wehr, Carol King; grandchildren: Rodney Forseth, Sandra Freelove, Toni Toutloff, Rachel King-Siert, Sarah White, Pete White, Liz White, Jamie Wehr, Jacqueline Kast, Breanna Wehr, Ryan King; great grandchildren: Rodney Forseth Jr., Zachery Forseth, Anthony Pena, Ashere Pena, Elvis King, Hayliana White, DeAndre White, Adrian White, Jaxon White, Ariel, Kelsey & Natalie Kast; great grandchildren: Anastasia Forseth & Nakoma Forseth; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Wake services for Agnes will begin at 4:00 p.m., at the Little Rock Community Center on Sunday, May 1, 2022, and continue until her 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Monday, May 2, 2022, all to be held at the Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN. Pallbearers for Agnes will be Brian King, Rodney Forseth, Pete White, DeAndre White, Ryan King and Mark Vinji. Her honorary pallbearers will be all her family and friends. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN following her Monday services.
