Baby Chance Jonathan Lee Gurno, 35 weeks gestation, was born asleep on May 13th, 2020 in Red Lake, Minnesota to Aberta Benais.
Chance is welcomed to the spirit world by his brother, Joseph Maxwell, Jr.; grandma, Cheryl Gurno; grandpa, Albert Benais, Jr.; great aunt, Barbara Gurno; great uncles, David, Brian, Darrell and Franklin Gurno; cousins, Romeo Cloud and Cedric Smith and several other relatives.
Family he leaves behind are his mother, Alberta Benais; special cousin, Destiny Springer; special uncles, his name sake Jonathan Gurno, Frank “Tank” Gurno and Shawn Martin; uncles, Thomas and Frank “Joe” Gurno, Derek A. Smith, Eli, Myron, Peter and Albert Benais III, and Daniel White, Sr.; special aunties, Hilary Gurno and Merceline White; aunties, Ellen Rose and Jean Benais, Theresa, Sharon Smith, Lisa White, Amanda and Brittany Thomas, Alicia and Phyllis Gurno, Shelda Lussier, Karen Lajuenesse and Shirley Barrett; many cousins and other family members.
Baby Chance’s graveside service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake, MN. Father Jerry Rogers will officiate. Pallbearers for Chance will be Jonathan Gurno and Frank “Tank” Gurno. His honorary pallbearers are all his family and friends.
