Benjamin "Ben" Camacho

Benjamin “Ben” Camacho, age 16, unexpectedly journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Jordan, MN. He was born on February11, 2007, in Shakopee, MN, the son of Missie (Larsen) and Christobal Camacho.

Ben was a confident and fearless young man that loved hanging out with friends and family. He loved to work out and play basketball on top of terrorizing his siblings. He had a love for shopping and shoes. Ben was also the most caring and loving uncle to his newly born nephew, Royal, the excitement he had for the arrival of him was the most loving thing. He was big on family and he loved everyone from his mom, dad, siblings, aunties, uncles, nephew, and many cousins. Ben was the type of person who could walk into any room and light it up with just his smile. He was a good student and hard worker. Ben was always the life of the get together, always cracking jokes and breaking the tension, even in a serious situation he kept the tension minimal. Ben will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those greeting Ben in the spirit world are his grandparents, Marilyn and John Wilke; great-grandma, Geek Fisher; aunt, Marilyn Young; and God mother, Audrey Swan.

Those Ben leaves behind to forever cherish his memory are his mom, Missie Camacho; dad, Christobal Camacho; high school sweetheart, Aunna Conly; brothers, Phillipe Camacho, Winter Cloud, Chritopher “Junior” Camacho, Alex Sifuentes; sisters, Lilliana and Yazmine Camacho; nephew, Royal Camacho; grandparents, Tina and Terry DeMarr, Geraldo Camacho, Graciella Ortiz; close cousins, Adrian Toledo, Alisa Thompson; several more cousins; aunts, uncles, and numerous friends.

A traditional 3 night wake for Ben will begin on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. and continue until his Thursday, June 1, 2023, 10:00 a.m. service, all to be held at the Mission Community Center in Mission, MN. Pastor Dave Yeats will officiate. Those helping to lay Ben to rest are Phillipe Camacho, Winter Cloud, Alex Sifuentes, Noel Cortez, Alain Olivares, Lil-one Daniels, Bernard “Debo” Sanders, and Chauncey Oothoudt. Honorary pallbearers are Terry DeMarr, AJ Toledo, Christobal Camacho, and Noe Sifuentes. Interment will be in the LaRose Family Cemetery in Cass Lake, MN.
