Brandon Wayne Lussier Beaulieu

Brandon Wayne Lussier Beaulieu (Ojibwe name: Giniw), age 40, of Red Lake, MN, began his spiritual journey on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Sanford Bemidji Hospital with his family by his side.

Brandon was born on December 24, 1977, in Red Lake, MN, the son of Leo Beaulieu and Sandra “Nonny” (Lussier) Sigana.  He was raised in Red Lake, MN, and graduated from Red Lake High School in 1997.  Afterwards, he worked for Beaulieu’s Store, Red Lake Comprehensive Health Services, Red Lake Boys and Girls Club, and Red Lake Fisheries.  In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the Vikings, videos on Youtube, movies on Netflix, and the food channel, and “macking on chicks” as he would say.  Most of all though he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces, nephews, and special children and the crew.  Brandon was an exceptionally kind and outgoing person who made everyone feel as if they were his favorite, he will be missed by all who knew him. 

Those left to celebrate Brandon’s life and mourn his passing include his parents, Sandra “Nonny” and Ron Sigana; biological father, Leo Beaulieu; special grandma, Bobbi Ann Lussier; siblings, Shanelle Sigana, Brent (Inez) Sigana, Sr., and Elmer Beaulieu; special children, Lenny Thompson, Brent Lee Sigana, Jr., and Anthony Sigana; and nieces and nephews, Karli and Aniya Sigana, Grace Roy, and Brenden DesJarlait; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Family members waiting to meet Brandon are his grandparents, Robert and Rose Lussier, Carol Sigana, Roman A Beaulieu, and Evon (Tiny) Beaulieu; uncles, Wayne Lussier and Elmer Lussier, Jr.; aunts, Willa Beaulieu and Darlene Needham; and cousins, Deshanna Lussier-Hallet, Latasha Kingbird, Rob T Lussier, Sr., and Ree Ree Marweg.

An wake for Brandon will begin at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 13, 2018 and continue until his 1:00 p.m., funeral service on Wednesday, August 15th all being held at the New Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN.  Father Jerry Rogers will officiate.  Interment will be on Wednesday, August 15th, immediately following the service, in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN.  Active pall bearers will be, Elmer Beaulieu, Brent Sigana, Sr., Harvey Roy III, Vincent White, Sr., Geoffrey Pierre, Michael Pankow, Mark Sigana, Luke Bonga, and Lester Lussier, Sr.  Honorary pall bearers will be, Gary Maxwell, Ian Lussier, Ian Veaux, Lilah Beaulieu, Teanna Pemberton, Renae Beaulieu, Kyra Blue, Ollie Beaulieu, Robert “Bob” Smith, Jon Roberts, Brian Seki, Gina King, Kelly Thunder, Nikki Spears, Delana Smith, Christin May, and everyone at the Red Lake Fisheries Crew.
