Brandon James Morgan, Jr.

Brandon James Morgan, Jr., age 19, of Cass Lake, MN began his spiritual journey on November 18, 2019 at his home in Cass Lake.  He was born on May 11, 2000 in Bemidji, MN the son of Brandon Sr. and Lynn (Swan) Morgan.

Brandon grew up and attended school in Cass Lake.  He was known to have a smile with everyone he met and worked with at the casino and was always a gentleman with the ladies.   He was formerly employed at the Palace Casino and currently at the Cedar Lakes Casino.  Brandon attended school at the ALC.  He loved to play video games with his friends.  He enjoyed playing basketball, going for car rides and even drifting with them.  Brandon liked listening to his Rap and Rock music, hunting and fishing with his father and all his friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially his family.

The family that Brandon joins again are his grandparents, Richard “Bibsy” and Bonnie Kingbird.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Brandon, Sr. and Lynn (Jimma) Morgan; brothers, Ramon Swan and Thomas Morgan; sister, Fiona (Edwin) Armstrong; nephew, Delmar and niece, Brylei all of Cass Lake; grandmothers, Vicki Swan of Cass Lake and Lisa Ronnquist of Duluth, other Swan family to include uncles, Jeremy and Jason, aunt Judi, uncle Lenny, aunt Faith Abram who he was very close with, his secondary parents who are Vincent and Shelly Morris who considered his their son, his best friend Cedric Morris and his childhood brothers, Michael, Aaron and Noah.

A wake for Brandon will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2019 and will continue until the 1:00 p.m. traditional service on Wednesday, November 27, all held at the old Legion Hall in Cass Lake.  Pallbearers helping to lay Brandon to rest are Cedric Morris, Dylan Morris, Aaron Wind, Michael Aggamway, Noah Abram, Torrey Kingbird, Edwin Armstrong, and Ervin Swan.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Swan, Jeremy Swan, Vincent Morris, Shelly Morris, Faith Abram, Lenny Abram, Beth Timmins and Heather Broda.  Brandon will be laid to rest in the Morgan Family Cemetery at Cass Lake near Oak Point.
