Carla Marie Gale, age 34, of Federal Dam, Minnesota began her journey to the spiritual world on Saturday, March 11th, 2023. She was born in Cass Lake, MN on March 23rd, 1988, to Lori Gale and Leo Jones, Sr.
Carla had a big heart and loved her children with all of it. Carla was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She loved to laugh and make people laugh. Carla loved doing her hair and getting neatly dressed. She was a very good writer; she loved to write poems, drawing and coloring in her spare time. Carla worked many jobs over the years, most of them in Customer Service and Housekeeping. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family, friends, but especially her nieces and nephews.
Family that welcomes Carla to the spirit world are her son, Markell Steven Morris; mother, Lori Gale; grandmas, Della Robinson and Dolores Jones; grandpa, Ronald Gale, Sr.; great grandma, Lillian Gale; and aunties, Patricia and Tracy Gale.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Fantasia Norton, Richard Norton, Jr., Annahleigha and Gwiwiizence Morris, Brayden Dahmen, Jameson Anderson, Tracy Ann and Ezemae Gale-Anderson; father, Leo Jones, Sr.; grandpa, Leo Robert Blair Jones; sisters; Linnea Rae Gale, Tiffany Hardy, Jessica and Mardee Jones; brother, Leo “Barney” Fisher-Jones; and many nieces and nephews.
An overnight wake for Carla will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Saturday, March 18th all to be held at the Battle Point Community Center in Federal Dam, MN. Bradley Harring will be her Spiritual Advisor. Helping to lay Carla to rest are Steve Dahmen, Miles Anderson, Byron Whitebird, David Chase, Troy Bowstring, Javon Lehti, and Stephanie Day. Her honorary pallbearers are Jovannah Gale-Martinez, Vydell Jones, Renee Gale, Bianca Gale, Barbara Schworchert, Derek Doerr, Nikki Boswell, Janice Gale and Travis Bowstring. Interment will be in the Battle Point Burial Grounds immediately following her Saturday service.
