Chisa Marie Roberts

Chisa Marie Roberts, age 40, unexpectedly journeyed to the spirit world on Friday, June 14th, 2024, from North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN. She was born on February 18, 1984, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Roxanne Roberts and James Kappenman.

Chisa Loved her teaching job at Kiddie Garden and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, and fishing. Chisa liked to read, watch movies, and play bingo. She adored her pets, Lady and Milly. Chisa will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Greeting Chisa in the spirit world are her mother, Roxanne Roberts; grandmother, Pearl Roberts; and brother, “Mukwa”.

Those Chisa leaves behind to forever cherish her loving memory are her husband, Jesse Hernandez; son, Jaden Hernandez; daughter, Samaya Roberts; sisters, Chianna Roberts and Pye Roberts; 4 nieces; and a nephew.

A Celebration of Chisa’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 7th, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a reading and special music by Jesse Hernandez at 3:30 p.m., all to be held at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri, at 3045 Park Ave, Minneapolis, MN. Chisa’s honorary urn bearers are Jaden Hernandez and Rosa Mata. Chisa’s final resting place will be home with family.
