Christal Lynn Pierre

Christal Lynn Pierre, 45 years young, of Red Lake, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo ND with her family by her side.  She was born to Wanda (Sigana) and Patrick Pierre, Sr. on November 2nd, 1974 in Red Lake, MN.

Christal enjoyed life, even though her face was always stoic.  She enjoyed playing cards with her friends whenever she could.  You could also find her gambling at the casino, cruising the back roads and listening to her classic rock music.  Christal had two grandbabies that she loved with all her heart.  She loved spending time with them and her children as often as she could.  Her memory lives on in those who love her.

Family that Christal is reunited with are her mom, Wanda Pierre; brother, Patrick Pierre, Jr.; sister, Laura Pierre; significant other, Troy Keezer; grandparents, Roman and Mary Sigana and Joseph and Gertrude Pierre; aunt, Carol Sigana; brother in law, Scott Graves and several more relatives.

She leaves behind her son, Deon (Wyndi Barrett) Pierre of Red Lake; daughter, Joyce Keezer of Red Lake; father, Patrick Pierre, Sr.; brothers, Darrell and Geoffrey Pierre both of Red Lake; sisters, Patricia Sigana, Sue Graves and Jennifer (Robin May) Hart all of Red Lake; two grandbabies, Mason and Jennifer Barrett and numerous other family members and many friends.

A wake for Christal will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 3rd and continue until her 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, February 5th all being held at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN.  Father Jerry Rogers will officiate.  Helping to lay Christal to rest are Deon Pierre, Jason Spears, Ivan Lussier, Lawrence Lussier, Dale Sigana, John Sigana, Tyrone Spears, Mark Sigana, Robin Lussier, Larry Sigana, Kevin Sigana, Darrell Pierre, George Schoenborn, Desmond Sigana and Geoffrey Pierre.  Her honorary pallbearers are Marlene Spears, Tawn White, Jan Lussier, Carlene Sigana, Sue Graves, Trish Sigana, Jen Hart, Marybeth Ballanger, Cassidy White and Roseanne Spears.  Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN.
