Cody Lee Campbell

Cody Lee Campbell, age 32, of Hector, Minnesota left us and this earthly life on Sunday, November 27th, 2022, in Medina, MN.  He was born the son of Shawna (Ehrenberg) and Scott Campbell on May 7th, 1990, in Willmar, MN

A little about Cody. Cody was a bright curious kid growing up. He always asked why? We knew he was going to be smart and stubborn and would grow up to be a "Do it my way" man. He loved his mother and brother with all his heart! Cody and I had a little more difficult relationship, but that sometimes happens when boys grow into men! Nonetheless he loved all his family. Cody had such a dry sense of humor that would make everyone laugh and he would follow that up with a quirky laugh and smile. One thing not everyone knew about Cody was his love of children. He was drawn to go play with kids and bring smiles and happiness to them. This was something that I found out when he came to live with me in Florida. I truly think Cody would have been a great father and as a father, I am thankful that Cody is now resting in peace and is no longer sad or hurting. I know that his entire family feels the same way. Cody, as I sit here writing this with tears in my eyes, I know you will be forever loved and missed.  Rest in peace son.

Family that Cody is reunited with are his grandparents, Russell and Judith Campbell and his uncle Dale Olson.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Shawna (Rick) Adams; father, Scott (Vanessa) Campbell; brother, Seth (Evyanne) Campbell; grandparents, Beverly and Paul Peterson, Sharon and Lonnie Olson, and Vera and Lyle Ehrenberg; aunts, Lisa (Randy) Dostal, Angela Ehrenberg, Janalee Campbell-Anderson, Jenelle (Jarrod) Mankie, Stacy (Matt) Fiedler and Kascie Greenwood; uncles, Dennis (Amy) Corneillie and Justin Friberg; his niece, Emma Gonzales-Campbell; fiancé, Gina Carswell; lifelong friend, Jena and her children Alex, Damion and Micah, numerous cousins and other relatives.

A Celebration of Cody’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Dethlef’s Community Center, 217 Hillcrest Avenue, Spicer, MN.  Cody’s cremains will be cared for by his family.
