Cynthia Alvarado

Cynthia Alvarado, 49 of Remer, Minnesota passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Essentia Health in Deer River, MN.  Cynthia was born in San Antonio, TX on December 26, 1973 to Maurilio and Oralia (Corona) Alvarado, Jr.

Cynthia Alvarado, AKA Cindy, loved to be with family and friends. She loved her daughters and grandbabies so much. She was very outgoing, funny, and everyone loved to be with her. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with friends or family, going to the casino, and dress up. She was good to everyone she encountered and had a good heart. She will be missed dearly.

Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Brianna Strong, Brandee Strong and Reina Strong, mother, Oralia (Lance) Hart, brothers, Richard Alvarado, Alexander Hart and Brian Hart, four grandchildren, Rilee Strong, Christopher Sumner, Jr., Cherish Sumner, Ramaya Washington, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Maurilio Alvarado, Jr., paternal grandparents, Maurilio and Josephine Alvarado, Sr., maternal grandparents, Jesse and Alice (White) Corona. Honorary pallbearers will be Lance Hart, Richard Alvarado, Alex Hart, Brian Hart, Raul Washington, Brandon Strong, Christopher Sumner, Sr., and Reginald (Beebles) Beaulieu.

A visitation for Cynthia with be from 5:00 – 7:00 on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.  Funeral service for Cynthia will be at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, with a visitation from 1:00-3:00 beforehand.  All being held at the Northern Peace Funeral Home in Walker, MN.  Pastor David Smith will be officiating.
