Damien (Howerd) Scot Stebe, 30, of Bemidji, MN died Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, at his home. A wake will be held at the home of Dawn and Ryan Stebe, 51157 Wildwood Road, Cass Lake, MN 56633, starting Saturday May 21st at 7:00 p.m. and continue until his 4:00 p.m. burial on Monday May 23rd at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Bemidji, MN. Pallbearers are Cody Fear, Joe Fear, Wayne Stebe, Derek Barnes, Charles Goodwin, Kyle Runningen and Jarin LaDuke. Honorary pallbearers are Allen Stebe, Andre Smith, Collin Stebe, Tony Abbott, Randy Stebe and Devrey LaDuke.
Damien Stebe of the Makwa (Bear) Clan was born June 22nd, 1991, to Dawn Annette Stebe in Bemidji, MN. He graduated from Voyagers High School Bi-cap Youth Build Program. After graduation he worked at Giovanni’s Pizza for approximately 10 years, where he gained his second family. Damien was larger than life with an adventurous spirit. He loved snowboarding, fishing, camping, and spending time with his mom, brother, niece, and nephews. Damien had a one-of-a-kind witty sense of humor that only added to his charm. While in his presence, you couldn’t help but smile and laugh with him. He was a gentle person that was always willing to help someone in need. He loved to sit around a picnic table or campfire and drink his PBR’s with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mom, Dawn Stebe, brother, Ryan (Andrea) Stebe, nephews, Andre and Collin Stebe, niece, Payten Stebe, numerous aunts, cousins, and an uncle.
Damien is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Betty Lou Stebe, aunt, Linda Lyng, uncle, Gar Stebe and a cousin Kim Lyng.
