Donna White
May 5, 1950 – October 16, 2025

Donna White, age 75, of Longville, Minnesota, began her journey to the spirit world on October 16, 2025. She was born on May 5, 1950, in Cass Lake to Hartley and Lillian White. Donna was a proud member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.

From an early age, Donna cared deeply for her siblings and took on the role of their protector. She was small but mighty!  Strong willed, determined, and full of love for her family. Donna enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, and watching her favorite sports, especially boxing and Minnesota Vikings games. She took great pride in her home, always keeping it clean and welcoming, and she treasured time spent with her sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Donna is welcomed to the spirit world by her parents, Hartley and Lillian White; her children Baby Wade, Arnold Wade, and Preston White; her brother Joseph White; her sisters Rachel and Shirley White; her grandsons Ryan Robinson and Phillip Wade Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her daughter Laurie Chase (Dave); her sons Larry Wade and Phillip Wade Sr.; her sisters Linda Morris, Peggy White, and Jean Howard; her brother Hartley White Jr.; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her strength, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Donna will be remembered for her unwavering spirit, her love of family, and her fierce pride in the life she built. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A wake for Donna will begin on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. and continue until her Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. Traditional Service all to be held at the Dave Morgan Community Center Bena, Minnesota. Those helping to lay Donna to rest are Brady Wade, Dusty Chase, Dylan Chase, Keith Carmona, Nate Howard and Anthony Chase. Honorary Pall Bearers are Doreen Whitebird, Gladys Chase, Shirley Young, Ann Sherman, Mike Schmidt, Andy Jackson, Luna Jackson, Murphy Jackson, Tre Flowers and TaNisha Flowers. Her Spiritual Advisor is Mike Needham.  Burial will be in George Johnson Cemetery, Winnie Dam, Minnesota.
