Douglas Charles Clark, 66 years old, of Pine Point, Minnesota, began his journey to the spirit world on September 24, 2023, from his home. Douglas was born December 24, 1957, to Sara (Croud) and Clarence “Fagen” Clark, Sr. Doug was born in Cass Lake, MN.
At age 17, Douglas enlisted in the US Army. When he was discharged, he moved to Minneapolis until 1990 when he moved to Pine.
Doug enjoyed nice cars and if they were fast even better. He liked to race cars when he could. He loved to spend time with his 40+ grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He enjoyed playing Bingo and slots. He was known for being a very kind caring and giving person, if he had it and you needed it, it was yours. He liked family get-togethers and telling stories about the past.
Those welcoming Douglas into the spirit world are his parents, Clarence “Fagen” Clark, Sr., and Sara (Croud) Clark; son, Douglas Clark, Jr.; granddaughter, Lareyna Jones; brothers, John Croud and Clarence Clark, Jr.; sisters, Melissa Clark, Barbara Clark, Mary Lou Clark, Diane Goodman, Evelyn Thompson, Bernice Buckanaga, and Florence Eischens; and lifelong partner, Lorena Jones.
Those Douglas leaves behind to cherish his memory are sons, Anthony Goodman, and Taylor (Cassie) Guy; daughters, Lee Ann (John) Jones, Lacey (Sonnyman) Clark, Andrea Clark, Alissa Clark, Kathleen Jones, and Allison (John) Jones; sisters, Edith Smith, Betsy (John) Robbins, and Mary Joann Annette.
A one-day wake for Douglas will begin on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. and continue until his traditional service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023, all to be held at the Pine Point Community Center in Ponsford. Doug’s Spiritual Advisor is Allen Hardy. Those helping to lay Douglas to rest are Derek Greenfeather, Jr., Tyson Norcross, John Bruguier, Jr., John “Sonnyman” Bigbear, Sr., John Annette, Sr., Anthony Annette, and William Annette. Honorary pallbearers are all Doug’s family and friends.
