Emily Margaret (Whipple) Munyer

Emily Margaret Munyer. Age 60, of the Turtle Clan, unexpectedly journeyed to the spirit world on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from her home in Bemidji, MN. She was born on October 7, 1964, in Cass Lake, MN, the daughter of Dorene (Beaudreau) and George Whipple, Sr.

Emily loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed working with leather, doing crossword puzzles, and gardening. Emily liked to bake; made excellent zucchini bread from the garden, and pies she often gifted to others. She was funny, liked watching tv and going to the casino. Emily was known for the red lipstick she always had on. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those greeting Emily in the spirit world are her parents, Dorene and George Sr.; daughter, Geraldine Whipple; brothers, George “Juno” Whipple, Jr., Punky Whipple, and Lowell Fisher.

Emily is survived by her daughter, Grace Munyer; husband, Mark Munyer; brothers, Thomas Whipple, Louis Fisher, Robert Fisher; grandchildren, Richard Paquette, Jr. and Ariana Paquette.

A two-night wake for Emily will begin at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Friday, November 8th, 2024, all to be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN. Those helping to lay Emily to rest are Richard Paquette, Jr., Corey Littlewolf, George Whipple III, Samuel Casey, Terry LaDuke, and Mark Munyer. Honorary pallbearers are Connie Littlewolf, Faith Littlewolf, Kelly Robinson, Paula Savage, and Thomas Whipple. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake, MN, immediately following services.
