Gary Wayne Lary

Gary Wayne Lary, 76, of Laporte, MN passed away on October 31, 2023.  Gary was born January 7, 1947, in Council Bluffs Iowa to Henry and Bernice Lary.  He grew up in Crescent, Iowa. 

Gary married Sandra in 1966.  In 1973 Nicholas was born, then in 1976 Clinton was born.

Gary was a self-taught auto mechanic and autobody repairman, he owned his own shop for several years.  Later in life he took on a love affair for home improvements and started a business doing that.  He truly enjoyed fixing things, no matter what it was he loved the challenge of fixing it.  When Gary wasn’t working, he enjoyed relaxing by fishing, he was an avid animal lover, didn’t matter what type of animal he loved it.

Gary will be remembered for his generosity and being a man with a big heart.

Those who have gone before Gary are his parents; Henry and Bernice Lary; son, Clinton Lary; numerous aunts and uncles.

Those Gary leaves behind to cherish his memories are mother of his children, Sandra Lary; son, Nicolas Lary; granddaughters, Shelby Lary, Paige Lary, and Nataile Lary; and brother, Richard Lary.
