Georgianna Anne (Aitkin) Feigum

Georgianna Anne (Aitkin) Feigum, 85, of Cass Lake, Minnesota peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Bemidji, MN.  She was born in Cass Lake, MN on Friday, February 2, 1940, to Hattie (Windom) and Joseph Aitkin, Sr.

Georgianna was a simple lady, who enjoyed the little things in life like going for long drives with her husband that had no destinations, visiting with her family and friends, and gossiping with her BFF, Phyllis Day about life and life’s issues.  She took pride in the home she made and kept for her family.  Georgianna was a great cook and loved hosting family dinners.  It is said that she made a mean wild rice hotdish.  She enjoyed sewing star quilts for her grandchildren, watching D.I.Y shows, doing crosswords, playing Yahtzee, 10,000, and cribbage.  Georgianna’s arms were always open for her family and friends.

Family that Georgianna is reunited with are her daughter Lisa, her parents Hattie and Joe, and all her siblings Joseph Jr., LeRoy, Bernice, Betty, Alberta, and Loretta.

She leaves behind her husband of 53 years John Feigum, her children LeRoy Aitkin, Ann Aitkin, Marie Nagel, Mark (Gloria) Allen, and Keith (Dawn) Grube, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

An overnight wake for Georgianna will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 10th and continue until her Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, all being held at the Mission Community Center in Cass Lake, MN.  In keeping with Georgianna’s wishes, her cremains will be scattered.
