Irene Pamela Greene

Irene Pamela Greene, age 75, of Minneapolis, Minnesota began her journey on Saturday July 17th, 2021. She was born on May 28th, 1946, in Cass Lake, MN the daughter of Rachel White and Guy Greene.

Irene loved a lot of things. She loved going to the casino, win or lose, she would not miss an opportunity to make that trip. She made the most amazing handmade crafts and loved sharing her work with family, friends, and anyone who loved it as well. She also loved spending time with family, whether it was sitting around telling stories, enjoying a party or two, or just being the great listener that she was. As much as she loved, she was loved in return, and Irene will be greatly missed.

Irene is reunited with her parents, Guy Greene, and Rachel White; sisters, Everina “Peggy” Mettler, Georgia Ann Daley, Betty Jane Greene, and Josephine Lee; brothers, Frank “Leonard” White, Glenn Greene, Guy Greene, Jr., and Tommy Greene.

Irene leaves behind her sisters, Ginger Greene, and Sherry Patterson; brother, Giiwedin Biindige; her son, Norman (Terri) Garner, Jr., granddaughters, Natalie White, and Vanessa White; great-grandchildren, Davon Bryant, Noelani Hunter, Javille Gray, Shaelynn Gray; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.  

A Celebration of Life for Irene will be held at the Sheridan Park Pavilion 6500 Upton Ave. S. Richfield, Mn on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Honorary pall bearers are Norman Garner, Jr., Davon Bryant, Jaymar Dickens, James Greene, Jack Daley, Tremaine Dickens and Marlow Greene.
