Israel Joseph White

Israel “Izzy” White, “Manidoo-inini” Which means “Spirit Man” of the Bear Clan started his spirit journey from his home in International Falls, MN.  Izzy was born on February 23, 1984, to Carol (Wahweotten) and Ralph White in Deer River, MN.

Izzy grew up in Sugar Point, Mn., where he loved to go fishing and hunting with his brother. Izzy loved taking road trips with Shannon and Chadley and listening to music.  He was always there to take Shannon to her doctor’s appointment at the Mayo Clinic.  She especially enjoyed this time with him.  He had that infectious smile, when he entered a room, his smile lit it up and you couldn’t help but smile back!  He totally adored his nieces and nephews.  Izzy is going to be greatly missed by so many people. He was so VERY loved by all!!

Those greeting Izzy in the spirit world are his parents; Carol and Ralph White, grandma’s; Delores Anoka and Evelyn Wahweottoen, Grandpa; Joesph Wahweotten, nephew; Chrstopher Robinson, nieces Chantel Robinson, and Brianne Robinsons, sister; Shawn Robinson, and many aunties and uncles that he loved dearly.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are brother; Chadley White, sister; Shannon (Kenneth) Moore.

A two-day wake for Israel will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025, and will continue until the 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Monday, February 10, 2025, all to be held at the Sugar Point Community Center in Federal Dam, MN.  Those helping to lay Izzy to rest are Terrance White, Mike White, Pat White, Kenneth Whitebird Jr., Dewan Kennedy, and Conard Smith.  Alternate pallbearers will be Jerred Moore, and Bennie Robinson.  Honorary pallbearers are all the people that knew and loved him.  Interment will be immediately following the service at the Battle Point Cemetery, Federal Dam, MN.
