James Armstrong Obituary

James Dean Armstong unexpectedly journeyed to the spirit world on December 17, 2024.  James was born to Michelle and Jeff Armstong on October 17, 1988, in Minneapolis, MN. James attended Seward Montessori in elementary days, and attended South Sr. Highschool, later obtaining his GED.  James loved working at Northern Lights and Cedar Lakes Casino’s.  Doubletree and Chubby’s food stand in the summer during Pow Wow season.
James adored his three beautiful girls Nide and Oni Headbird and Jae-Lynn Armstrong-Cash.  James loved to tell jokes, he lit up a room when he walked in and could play video games for hours.  He was a DIE-HARD Dragon ball Z fan.  He loved hat and shoe collection, always dressed to impress someone.  He was loved by everyone that met him.
Those greeting him in the Spirit World are his mother and father; Michelle and Jeffrey, grandmother; Barb, grandfather; Jim, uncles; Martin, and Jim, aunt; Wendy as well as his oldest two children’s mother; Jami Headbird.
James is survived by brothers; Glen, Jeffrey, and Kamal, sisters; Ona and Barbie, his children; Ninde and Oni Headbird and Jae-Lynn Armstrong-Cash, youngest child’s mother; Jennifer Cash, significant other; shellda Johnson and 8 stepchildren; Laralea, Brandon Jr., Trindon, Jaelarae, Phoenix, Sunshine, Charlee and Feather, step granddaughter; Diamond.


A one-day service for James will start at 12:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024, at the White Earth Family Center in Cass Lake, MN.  Allen Hardy will be his spiritual advisor.  James will go home with family after the service.
