James “Jayme” Lawrence Wipper, age 40, of Longville, MN, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at his home.
Jayme was born on September 27, 1977, in St. Cloud, MN, the son of Leslie Wipper and Lynda (Connell) Hoese. He was raised in Monticello and graduated from Monticello Senior High School. Afterwards, he worked at Ford in Monticello and various other jobs before moving to Longville and learning how to drive a cement truck for 2 years before moving and working as a driver in Elk River and Buffalo. Jayme then worked for Holiday and became Assistant Manager, but then, moved back to Longville and worked as a prep cook for Northern Lights Casino until the time of his death. His full time passion though, was family (especially his nieces and nephews), friends, and FOOTBALL, more often times than not combining all three.
Jayme is survived by his mother, Lynda and Roy “Popps” Hoese; brother, Josh Wipper (Billie); sisters, Dawn (Ken) Flanery and Kelly Wipper; and nieces and nephews, Tori (Erick), Kate (Derek), Patrick (Kayla), Samuel (Amanda), Abbi, Lucy, Timmy, Jon, Malachi, Logan, Jennifer, Zach, Maddison, and Phillip. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Wipper and brother, Jacob Wipper, grandparents JD Connell and Grace (Mather) VanGeest; grandparents Philip and Elsie (Carlson) Wipper.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 25, 2018, at Northern Peace Funeral Home, 114 Tianna Dr., Walker, MN, and there will also be visitation time from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, with the funeral service at 11:00 am, at the same location. Burial will be at Longville Cemetery in Longville, MN, following the service.
