Janice Kay (Price) Fagerman

Janice Kay Fagerman, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, at her home in Walker, MN. She was born on May 23, 1932, in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Charlotte (Rogers) and James Earl Price.

Janice loved going to the casino and playing slots. She liked arts and crafts, especially painting. She enjoyed having her grandchildren come around. Janice liked watching game shows on television, especially, “Deal or No Deal”. Back in the day, Janice and Roger loved going to the old 34 Club and dancing the night away. She also used to enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening; her gardens were over the top. Janice was not afraid to say things as they were, lacking a filter, and the ability to hear well, sometimes put everyone in an awkward position. Janice will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Roger; Parents, Charlotte and James; daughters, Dawn Riga and Gwen Truax; sister, Sheree Poore; brother, Keith Price; and daughter-in-law, Ruth Fagerman, son-in-law Brian Riga.

Janice is survived by her sons, Jay (Terri) and Guy Fagerman; grandchildren, Shaun (Colleen) Truax, Jerad, Jalyn, and Jamie Fagerman and Jameson Prose, great-grandchildren, Miley and Gunner Fagerman, and Samantha Prose.

A Celebration of Janice’s Life will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation at 1:00 p.m., all to be held at Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker, MN. Pastor Matthew McWaters will officiate. Janice’s urn bearer is Jay Fagerman and honorary urn bearers are Guy Fagerman and Jerad Fagerman. A private inurnment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery in Walker, MN, currently no date is set.
