Jean Marie (Kraemer) MaKarrall

Jean Marie MaKarrall, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN. She was born on June 18, 1955, in St. Cloud, MN, the daughter of Arlene (Lagergren) and Richard Kraemer.

Shortly after high school, Jean met Steve MaKarrall, the love of her life. They were united in marriage on December 22, 1973. Jean enjoyed fishing, traveling the United States, and owning a business, all with her late husband, Steve. She was a stubborn woman. When they were younger, they enjoyed going out with friends and socializing. Jean loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed having company but would never admit that. Jean loved her pups, going for walks, doing crossword puzzles, journaling, watching gameshows, shopping, listening to oldies and country music.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Steve; parents, Arlene and Richard.

Those Jean leaves behind to forever cherish her memory are her daughters, Cheryl (Gerald) Pratt, Amy Dreher, Lisa (Andrew) Lutgen; son, Brian MaKarrall; brother, Steve (Lisa) Kraemer; sisters, Cathy (Ray) Booth and Debra Kraemer; grandchildren, Michael, Taylor (Shelby), Vanessa (Gilbert), Latasha (Jared), Tameka (Joe), Devin (Shannon), Wyatt (Naomi), Jaden, and Dyami; great-grandchildren, Jax, Sierra, and Kai.

A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Sunday, August 11th, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Laporte fire hall 155 county road 39 NW. Laporte, MN.
