Jeannine Lois (Jenssen) Glassmann

Jeannine Lois Glassmann, 88 years old, of Pine River, MN passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2021.  She was born in Chicago, IL on August 15, 1932 the daughter of the late Raymond Frederick and Elinor Dorothy (Riddell) Jenssen.  She grew up in the family home on Lowell Ave., in Chicago.  This is where she met some of her most dear lifelong friends. 

On October 20, 1951 Jeannine married Raymond John Glassmann at St. Bede’s Catholic Church in Ingleside, IL.  They shared nearly 61 fun-filled years of marriage together. 

Jeannine is survived by their sons; Kurtis Raymond and Douglas John (Mona), and daughter; JoAnn Louise (Richard) Frankson.  She has eight grandchildren:  Gunnar (Stacy), Matthew (Kaylee), Christopher (Michelle), Joseph (Jenette), Jesse (Elizabeth), Sophie, Samantha and Sarah.  She has 14 great grandchildren:  Robert, George, Dean, Camron, Duncan, Leif, Lorelei, Isabel, Nicole, Dawna, James, Zoe, Eliana, Noah and one on the way!

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, her beautiful granddaughter Dee Eileen, her brother Raymond Henry Jenssen and his wife Elizabeth. 

Jeannine was always happy and had to have a great sense of humor to put up with Ray, that’s for sure.  She will be dearly missed. 

She will be laid to rest along with her husband in the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River, MN with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
